When a young person is struggling with anxiety, school stress, or big emotions, it can feel scary and isolating for the whole family. I offer a warm, judgment-free space where teens feel genuinely heard — and where parents get support too.
Maybe they've gone quiet. Maybe school feels like too much, friendships are shifting, or worry and sadness have crept in. As a parent, you want to help — but it's hard to know how, and harder still when they pull away.
I've spent over 20 years working with young people, and I know how to meet them where they are: with patience, warmth, and zero judgment. Therapy gives teens a space that's entirely theirs — somewhere to be honest, feel understood, and learn real skills for managing what they're facing.
I draw on CBT, mindfulness, and — when it's right for your child — gentle yoga therapy to help teens connect with their bodies and calm their nervous systems. Sessions are collaborative and paced to your child's comfort. For younger children, I also offer play therapy, a natural way for kids to express what they can't yet put into words.
You're part of the healing too. I'll keep you appropriately involved, offer guidance on how to support your child at home, and help you feel less alone in this. We'll respect your teen's growing need for privacy while keeping you informed about how things are going.
