Helping Clients Help Themselves
The mind has a great ability to heal itself, as well as an amazing capacity to do so. Sharing painful experiences with a psychotherapist or a professional yoga therapist can validate the hurts and disappointments we may have experienced. The decision to seek professional help is often the hardest thing to do, but the most important first step in seeking balance in our lives.

I received my Master’s in Social Work from Arizona State University, and gained status as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in 2005. I have 20 years of clinical work experience working with all age groups, families in distress, and group therapy with children. This experience included working in group homes, schools, community-based programs, as well as inpatient and outpatient mental health facilities.

My experiences with an eclectic approach utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness techniques have been very effective in the healing process of my patients and will be effective for you too. Having discovered yoga more than twelve years ago, it has been a multifaceted tool that has encouraged my beliefs for holistic healing. These mindfulness techniques I use are grounded in 5,000 years of yoga philosophy. Whether you are seeking individualized yoga therapy instruction or immersion into therapeutic work, you have come to the right place. You do not need ultimate flexibility to participate in services with me, just a desire to find yourself! To schedule an appointment, please contact me at (520) 812-6565.
